Urgent please read

i was prescribed 10mg cipralex last month and i was also given Omeprazole.

Anyway i upped my dose to 20mg today and i decided to start taking Omeprazole i took it at 5 i have read that it interacts with cipralex and increases the level of cjpralex in the blood and as i am taking 20mg cipralex what does that mean for me? is it going to harm me or cause an overdose?

Omeprazole only has a half life of 1.2 hours and i took it at 5pm.

But you knew this before you took it because you posted about it on your other thread...

I doubt very much that it will harm you or cause an overdose but yes do ring NHS Direct if you're worried or have symptoms (although I don't want to be opening up another can of worms here).

Im sure you would know by now Eggy .But I would check to put your mind at rest chuck .The increased dose will prob cause you a tad more anxiety for a short time . T/c Sue x
