Hello to you, and thanks for taking the time to drop by and read my scribblings.
I have suffered with depression for many, many years, trying my hardest to cope in my 'own way' only to finally find sense and have a chat with my GP and I am so pleased I did.
I have only just started taking Citalopram- I am now on day 2- and have found that thankfully, at the moment the side effects are not too bad. But having been warned that it can be difficult for the first week(s) I am geared up for a few bumps along the road.
I thought finding a site where I could chat with others, maybe going through similar, would be a great way of swapping thoughts and maybe getting a little advice which would help me deal further with my current situation.
I feel so releaved to have taken my first steps towards getting closer to, well, at least feeling slightly normal! Here's hoping!
I am lucky to have a supportive partner and a beautiful daughter, both who give me strength, and I loose myself in my artwork when I need to try and focus or switch off.
So, at the see what happens stage at the moment...
