World is going to end...

I have all kinds of problems that I share with all you folks here. This is not one of them! I guess I am some kind of green nut, since I do not see a problem here. We are a species, and all species have an end. So if we have a couple million more years, cest la vie! The planet is very sturdy and will support life a few BILLLION years.

I can totally sympathise - this is one of my main anxieties. I am petrified of 2012 - infact I can't even read about it because it scares me so much. There is a NASA website that is supposed to have some reassuring information that may be worth checking out.

I was terrified when they turned on the Large Hadron Collider, I am petrified ecery time a natural disaster or severe weather event happens in case it means the end of the world is coming.

Sometimes I feel like I am wasting my life worrying about the world ending or my untimely death - my husband gets very frustrated with me.

Frankly, Im more concerned with the current government and how they are wrecking our country and people....we will all die, but the world will go on for thousands of years yet. All we can hope for is that we live a good life, and however our death occurs, we are not alone....and hopefully pain free. Waiting to die every day is a waste of a life....live today and everyday.....to its fullest.xxxxxxxx

world not going to end in 2012, it's to do with the NEW WORLD ORDER in 2012. that's what coming into place.

try not to be scared of it, that's what they want you to be scared. if your scared, it is easier to take control.

people need to have more love and compassion for one another, and care for each other. that's more important. that's what the government does not want you to be full of love and compassion, they would rather you to be scared.

I know it's easier says than done. need to go beyond fear,

Love and compassion is the key.

Sorry, but I really do not see the point in worrying about the world ending. It is utterly pointless and a waste of time and what life you may or may not believe we have left on this planet!!!!

Even if it does, what can we do about it? ZILCH. I worry about things I want to and can change, not things I cannot.

I think anyone who worries about such nonsense really needs to try and get a life.

I for one worry about it too, people can worry about anything and everything no matter how trivial someone else might see it. If you suffer from panic and anxiety yourself you should know that it makes us very sensitive people.

Telling people on an anxiety board that they need to try and get a life because of the type of thing they worry about I find very hurtful. Most of us are here because our lives are in shambles due to the anxiety, me included.

I'm not trying to cause a fight with you, I really don't like arguments and fights so I'm sorry if anything I've said above has offended you but we are both intitled/entitled (sp? ;s) to our own opinions. x
