does anyone get heart palps or missed beats before period? about week before x

Hi there Apriltones,

I can often get more anxious before a period and especially with heart symtoms. I get more palps and my heart can go quite fast compared to normal. This is all normal but but I know it's annoying and hard to live with. Progesterone increases respiratory rates slightly just before a period too which makes our breathing rates faster which if we are inclined to panic can affect our hearts in a similar way to hyperventilation and cause palps etc. Hormones have alot to answer for!
