SMOKING -link with panic/depression.

Wanted to do a poll on this but couldnt work it out lol.

How many of you are smokers or have been in the past?

I am, want to quit but need to find some willpower from somewhere! I'm worse at weekends, probably polish off 30 a day, 15 a day when at work. Only about 5 in work & about 10 when I get home. Haven't tried any remedies yet, still waiting to find the "right" day to do it!! Always been a smoker though, so I can't blame smoking on anxiety & panic as I've only been a sufferer for 12 months.

I gave up a 25 a day 18 year habit 12 days ago and as I was saying on here earlier on, it has made my anxiety worse because my emotional crutch is gone .
BUT it IS getting better and I reckon in a week or 2 i'll be on top of the world! (i hope)

i stopped 6 months ago because it made me feel more stuffy and lightheaded if that makes sense. why u ask anyway x
