I am getting myself in a mess again with constant checking on symptoms.
I have a small cyst on my labia which is not causing any problems. The doctor has checked and she is fine with it. I also have a small red area close to it which is over and around the scar from my most recent bartholins cyst op (in March this year). I am pretty sure this has been here since the op (I had 2 ops in the same place 6 months apart!!). The doctor would have seen it when she checked the cyst and said nothing. But I have become obsessed that it is vulva cancer!! The redness is the only symptom I have (no bleeding, itchiness, discharge etc). It is a bit sore sometimes but only because I check it about 50 times a day!! I spend hours on the internet!!
I also have a lot of aching pain in the vaginal wall on the same side but this goes hand in hand with low back, hip and bad buttock and groin pain which the doctor thinks is coming from my spine. I can't even cross my leg on that side now - it feels like the muscles have shortened and I am often numb on this side when I have been sitting in one position for more than 10 minutes or so. I know in my heart that these are 2 separate issues but I keep convincing myself that it is this rare cancer that has spread to my pelvis and back!!
I feel so fed up, tired and miserable!! I had the flu jab yesterday as well and feel really run down today. When will this end??? I know I should go back to the doctor but I am so scared that she will agree with my diagnosis!!
Any experience of this kind of thing?
