Just thought I would ask if anyone has suffered migraine headaches while taking Citalopram. Im into my third week of tablets (40mg). Ive been doing ok for several days until recently, when Ive had 3 migraines in just 4 days.

I think I am. Im sure I am, at least I think I must be.

Hi Paulst,
Yes I did in the past when taking citalopram...I had the migraines that start where you can only see half of everything (if you know what I mean) then turned into full blown pain etc....can be a side effect when taking anti-depressants apparantly (initailly anyhow).

Hi Jo, thanks for your reply, sadly I had another migraine this morning, before I even got out of bed! Ive only been taking citalopram for a few weeks, so hopefully things will get better soon.
