Generalised Anxiety Disorder

Hello,
I have been diagnosed with this, and panic attacks and depression.
I am currently on pregabalin, propranolol, and mirtazipine.

Whats other peoples experiences of this illness? and how do other people cope?

Hi Andy, I was diagnosed with GAD about 15 years ago. I have ups and downs, am always a worrier but most of the time is managable. CBT helped me greatly in the past and have just started again now. How are you finding the pregablin? I have just started it. x

hey just wanted to say hi really!

cbt is a great start, if you can get to your local library there are lots of self help books which help keep me on the straight and narrow.

generally though i try and follow my heart, try and practise the 'middle way' as in not push myself too hard and watch my thoughts and behaviours and try and keep them positive.

notice i said try a lot though!!
