    Sleep/heart question

hey everyone i have a question, lately i have convinced myself i have sleep apnea, my question is.. when i am falling asleep or if i wake up in the middle of the night or even after a long night of sleep my heart beat feels so soft and weak, is this normal? i understand my body has not been working so it doesnt need to pound but it feels soooo weak. thank you.

Hi, sounds good to me -waking up with a gentle heart beat. As far as I'm aware I think you'd wake up with a 'pound' if you had sleep apnoea. x

A good indicator of having sleep apnea is feeling tired all day and most people have to have over a 17 inch neck collar size. Yes it is good to have a calm heart beat at night as it means your blood pressure has down regulated which is what it is supposed to do. Your feeling of weakness is because of your anxiety, I get it a lot at night especially getting up to go to the loo, in fact sometimes I feel as though somebody is pushing me down on my collar bones I feel so weak. Health anxiety is not pleasant and can destroy lives, I am a living example of that.
