Numb face

For a few days now I have had what I can only describe as a numb discomfort feeling in my face, mainly my cheeks, starting in my right one, moving to my left and now in both. I'll get the numbness and then sometimes it feels almost like one side of my face is falling. Then I'll immediately touch it and it feels okay and it looks fine....but then it will all start again.

This is starting to really worry me now as I've woke up with it this morning again and it just won't seem to go away.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Is this 'normal' for anxiety? I'm worried I'm about to have a stroke or something!

i get this too but only on one side, comes and goes for about 6 weeks and from what i have been told here it is deff anxiety related although i am no medical expert

i just take ibroprofen and paracetamol or kalms and it does help

I still have this today :( really worrying now. Has anyone else experienced this symptom?

mine isnt too bad but i do find a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel eases it too - hth

I get this too. In the left hand side of my face and sometime in my left arm. It comes and goes, I often think it's a stroke, panic myself. But nothing ever happens. I'm sure its anxiety related. Maybe it's because I notice it, that it gets worse. I'm gald I read this forum, it has eased my dears a little.
