Obsessed !!

hi everyone
the past 2 weeks i have been obsessed with my heart beat since i took propanolol i feel like its not beating properly and its very slow and weak i sometimes struggle to find my pulse in my neck........ some times it feels like it beats 3 times in one.
its even worse at night i have no chance of sleeping till about 5 when i have no choice and my body gives upbut even then i feel like im floating and woke ever wake up....eben though i always do!!!!
i know this is anxiety but the past few days ive been thinking what if its something worse ??? cause i have only been feeling like this since i took propanolol and i have been to scared to take it since cause my heart already feels slow so surely i dont need to take it

It souns like anxiety to me, the more you worry, the more you can't get your heart rate out of your mind. I had Diazepam and Propranolol when my anxiety was at its worst. The Propranolol did break the adrenaline cycle for me.

Speak to your doctor if you don't think the tablets are helping you.

My heart felt exactly the same when i was taking it - I spoke to my doc and apparently it is normal to feel like that and will not hurt you in any way.

Maybe you could speak to your DR just for reassurance

thanks for the replys i havent been able to take the propanolol since the last time about wednesday i think and hadnt taken one then since the friday when i was given them i thought id try them on the wednesday to see if i felt the same as last time and i did and now im to worried to because my heart is already so slow and i dont want it toslow anymore xx
