It's ok now. It wasn't showing up at the bottom of one of the pages where it normally has today's birthdays, then member's names.
It got sorted anyway. I was just feeling a bit down yesterday as I spent some of my birthday on my own.

Dear Tanya this happened to me too.NMP why can't we opt in to having our birthdays displayed on the forum? Those who don't like it can opt out?. It would save all this unpleasantness. These things do matter. EJ.

I agree with ElizabethJane. Birthdays can be a bit odd for anxiety sufferers and this site is such a lifeline to such people.
We all need a boost from time to time especially on a birthday!!

Did you have your birthday in your user profile on here or did you add it afterwards/yesterday and when did it start showing on the bottom of the forum?
