Finally getting help for Domestic Violence

I have been abused alot at home by my parents and this week i phoned a local organisation that'll help me out.

A meeting has been arranged for next week and i'm so looking forward to the future now.

I'll be getting an Outreach Worker I think.

FINALLY I'LL BE GETTING THE HELP I NEED

I am so glad you've done something positive. I know a bit about domestic violence, I work for a local Council and we have a domestic violence strategy. Its so important to do something jun.ann because the statistics are shocking. A victim is assaulted on average 35 times before they call the Police & 1 in 3 girls & young women who have been hit or abused by their parents went on to be abused by their boyfriends in a survey done by a teen magazine. There is a wealth of information out there that people don't know is available. I don't know how old you are, but there are refuges and social landlords who can help. For anyone else who reads ju.ann's post, don't let domestic violence hold you back & make you live in fear. Act now!
