Irritable Bowel Syndrome

I have just been diagnosed with IBS, i guess all those years of panic and anxiety have taken their toll on my poor stomach! Doctor has given me Colofac tablets 1 three times a day. Does anyone else suffer from this or have any remedies/advice i could try?

India,

I have IBS too and just read the above listed link that Lisa sent and just learned tons of information. I have so many of the symptoms other than just the "gut" problems that I never knew went along with it. Wow! I try to control mine by diet. I don't take any medication but I'm from the states. So far not doing too well either. I may try some meds. Sorry don't have much advice just wanted you to know you are not alone out there.
