Hi, mine feel mostly like a fluttering and sometimes make me cough. Somtimes they feel very strong and 'loud'. They are worse in the evening and in bed at night or if I've eaten too much 'rubbish'!

    Hiya,,

i get palpitations and i hate them,,my heart just constantly thumps,,espesially first thing on a morning it feels like my heart is going to come out of my chest,,sometimes it gets a bit irregular too,,i take a beta blocker called propranolol to help slow my heart down and it works a treat for me,,sometimes at night when im lying in bed it starts thumping again [Ugh]but i was told if it stops me getting to sleep it was ok to take 20mg propranolol to ease it,,its a horrible thing,,even if im not anxious it still thumps i hate these symptoms :(
