Numb face sensation & left sided body pains..please help :(

For the last few days I have had intermitant facial numbness on the left hand side, something I haven't had before. I have also had some left arm aches, hand pains and foot pains all on the same side. Needless to say I am now really scared.

This last 5 days I have worked 12 hour shifts in the hospital where I work so know I am a little rundown, PLUS I gave up smoking and drinking New Years Day AND I get married in 11 weeks.

The realist in me thinks this is anxiety BUT with it being a new feeling/symptom I need to discuss it. I'm thinking along the lines of stroke or brain tumour as I sometimes work with stroke patients etc.

Any advice will help me get through this

ANXIETY!!

i get all of what you say (apart from the facial numbness, but mine tingles).

i get a dead left arm and a jelly left leg too, with a numb big toe! all stress or trapped nerves in my back and neck! this is just two of the symptoms i get out of a huge, and i mean huge, list!

please don't worry and enjoy getting ready for your big day!

tingling pains are a well known problem for people suffering from stress! hands and feet are top of the list!

It just concerned me a little as I've never had the facial thing before, it's a weird feeling..not quite numb but just a 'sensation' on my left cheek? My IBS and acid reflux is also through the roof, constant indigestion, and it's really all getting me down.

Hey there

I also have the same thing. It is weird though it usually happens when I am woken up from a sleep. Doesnt happen very often, same with the tingling in legs and hands...same thing here, except I dont like the weird feeling on the left side of my cheek. It doesnt feel numb at all but there is a weird feeling there, almost tingling but NOT. ITs hard to explain. Just wanted to let you know you arent alone. I am 27 and am not the healthiest but not Un-healthy either.
