Firstly, I'm home.......
secndly I've got back from my trip awayto my uncles, 5 hours there and 5 hours back in a car...... was hard but I didit.
thirdly, i had to go to the rescue on friday not long after getting there, my uncles horse wasnt very well. Huge retired shire horse. Was lame and not standing on his foot. vet was called.
while being there the vet, needed help so I was given the job to do so!
Horse was given injections, bandage on his foot - turns out to be an infected abcess in his hoof. (ouch)
Vet returned on sat, had to get up at 6am to see to Ted ( the horse) when the vet arrived, he needed to do some xrays. I was put in charge to keep the horse still. was pushed over a few times!Ted needed to be re injected with 3 different painkillers, aantibiotics etc. Only to find the horse yanked his head away, pulling on the headcoller and rope - to which I was holding......................................
Now, I cantmove my arm, same collerbonwe area as last time, am going to go to the hospital tomorriw to be checked as I am wrking loads the next 3 months.
20 hand shire horse....! Huge boy!
Although this isnt what my holiday was meant to about. it was to have time with Dylan.
but I'm back......
