Exclamation Lump on cervix + pain - please help!

    Hi everyone,

I have a relatively low cervix and recently my partner and I felt a small lump on my cervix. It is to one side and probably pea sized but in my head it is much bigger of course. I have a significant amount of sporadic cramping in my lower abdomen and mild nausea with it. Of course I am panicking about all kinds of things. Can someone please offer me advice?

    hi
i found a lump like you described and immediately went into full panic mode and was thinking the worst. i went and got it checked out and it's absolutely fine!
if you're really worried about it then just go and get it checked out but i'm sure it's nothing to worry about!
I was told by the nurse that they are quite common!

Well my reply is an obvious one im afraid .You need to get it looked at by the Dr .It may be nothing to worry about as is often the case .But you wont know until youve been checked out .Hope all turns out ok for you .luv Sue

Are they meant to cause pain and cramping too? I definitely know I didn't have it a while ago

I think something like this needs investigating Scorpion, so as Suzy said, see a doctor to put your mind at rest - it's probably harmless.

Most things that are irregular there will cause crammping .You need to ask the Dr about all this .Ring up and book an appointment .You cant get a diagnosis on the internet .All you are doing is making your anxiety worse and putting things off .Surely its better to get your self diagnosed and have peace of mind ? I had the cramping before I found the lump. I had a really painful period and as with the last few, it lasted 4 days but kept stopping and starting. I don't know if any of it is linked.
