When is it appropriate to use and what would you not use it for for the following

    Emails
    Telephone
    Meeting
    Presentation
    1-2-1 meeting
    Briefing

just needs to a few lines nothing more.

Am I really that bad at explaining things!!!

    Basicly....

What would you use a meeting for? and not use a meeting for?

IE to find out how groups are doing but not discussing personal problems or confidental problems.

    Need to know for:

    Emails
    Telephone
    Presentation
    1-2-1 meeting
    Briefing

    Hmm..... is that clearer.....!

    Umm I think so lol

Emails - not good for meetings
Telephone - yes fine and can use teleconferencing
Presentation - umm not sure cos presentations are usually one way
    1-2-1 meeting - yes fine
    Briefing - yes fine

Not sure that is what they want though lol

    Hey Nikk

    How about:

    You would use a 1 2 1 for a confidential meeting
you would use a briefing if you wanted to let a large amount of people hear an announcement.
You would use a presentation when you wanted to share information with a group of people that included visual aids such as training
You would use an email if you wanted a record of a conversation or if you needed to send information to other people.
You would use a telephone if you wanted a discussion with someone who wasnt in the same location as you.
