I am on Beta blockers for anxiety and fast heart rate i have had ecgs which did show up ectopic or missed beats i get concerned i will have a stroke or something since i reached my 50s,i worry aout it more and i soon notice if i miss a dose of beta blockers. i do get quite alot of flutters ect also Holly

Sounds like the more you worry, the worse it gets. Would your doc give you a few days of tranquillisers just to test out if it calms. This would ta least prove to you that its the anx making things worse

Thank you yes,my gp will give me Diazpan on occasions.and yes they do help.But my gp will only give me afew has apparently i was given them in the 60s and shouldnt hae been. because of the adictive factor! but yes they do help thankyou holly
Try eating red grapes. Eat them frequently during the day. Works for me. Hope this helps.

can anybody tell me what is the right way to breath when felling anxious? Taking deep breaths seem to make me dizzy or lightheaded.thank you holly

Just take normal breaths. There is a method - maybe someone else can help
