IBS medication?

I went to the dr's this morning for medication & he prescribed me Mebeberine tablets, just wondering if anyone else has tried these & if they work?

I've tried them but they didn't work for me, hope they work for you though. Colpermin seem to be better for me, I got mine from Tescos.

yeah the dr said its trial & error, & said to give these a chance, he prescribed me some ispagel aswell and blurgh the stuff tastes vile xx

Hi Geri, mebeverine helped me a lot, hope it works for you. As for the Fybogel - you do kind of get used to the taste IMO xx

Give the Mebeverine a little while to work - sometimes it can take a little while (in my experience anyway). - Good luck.

I take Buscopan and it works for me.
