Hi another new one here,found this site quite by accident.... Was taking prozac for 4yrs before i had to come off it due to an unusual side effect (couldnt stop passing water). Tried a few different meds before starting mirtazapine 3 months on 15 mgs with no effect, then 30 and now 40 mgs daily.. I feel alot better and sleeping so far so good.. ( I suffer from depression and have sleep problems). I haven't had any of the nightmares thankfully but my joint's ache terribly, i also take co/codamol 8 daily for arthritis so the aching does ease.. My biggest issue is the weight gain, about 1 n a half stone and i hate the feeling of being fat,fat,fat.. I really do hope the weight issue settles down cos i really am feeling better.
