1st day

hi, this is the first day i've tried citalopram. i on 10mg but going up to 20mg after a week i worried as have been suicidal in past although not now and i'm concerned after reading the side effects. Are these negative side effects common?

Try not to dwell too much on the side effects, although i think that we are all guilty of reading the info that comes with the tablets!! Some people get the side effects and some don't but with everyone, they do usually pass and the positive feelings start to come instead. I personally had increased anxiety but it did pass although it was scary at first. Try and keep in your mind that these feelings will pass. I know that it is difficult and we all get bogged down with the 'what ifs?.' Good luck, you will be fine xx
