Ladies, pls help - nipple question

I'm a bit concerned after having a bad night with sharp shooting pains in my left nipple. A couple of days before I had been getting the odd pain, but last night I was woken twice with these sharp pains, they lasted for a minute or two then faded. Today I have just felt one pain. Please has anyone else experienced this. I would be most grateful to hear from you to put my mind at rest

i have had this before, do you have larger breasts? this could just be pressure in the tissure and the nipple is the most sensitive part so has the shooting pain feeling, if not you have probably just slept or caught it and may slightly be bruised, it normally goes away quickly so dont worry
