Hi, my name is Jen, I have just bought myself a computer so that i can talk to people who might be suffering like me. For me isolation is one of the most devastating aspects of living with agoraphobia. I have had agoraphobia to various degrees most of my adult life (I am now 46) and for the last two years it has worsened, resulting in me losing my job and having to claim benefits. Having someone to talk to who understands would be fantastic as I have received very limited support from the health service over the years.

Hello Jen to a great new world. I'm sure you'll find NMP a great help. I don't have much of a social life due to having an illness which also cost me my job and I'd be lost without my friends online. I do work a bit but feel pretty isolated when at home

Welcome to nmp - I'm really new here - only joined 3 weeks ago - but I had read posts from here for about the last year - already the site has been a great help to me.

There are lots of really kind people here with a wide range of experiences that are willing to listen and share with you.
