Coming off Cital after 2 years on 20mg

Another bad day today, still managed to stay in work.
Booked a private session of CBT, it's expensive but I need something.

Thinking about going back on the Citalopram.
I feel very anxious at work... like I can't do the job. Like my head is in ten different places at once and that I can't concentrate on one job at a time.

I am going to the local Hospital tomorrow to see the Psychiatrist, to ask to be put onto Citalopram, it's the only thing that's managed to quel my anxiety of the years.

Right, anxiety at 100% at work, can barely handle being in work. A hundred negative thoughts per minute, severe self doubt every moment.

So I have just taken 20mg of Citalopram. Here we go again. :(

Fifth day back on 20mg Citalopram (morning) and 50mg Quetiapine (8pm)
Feeling a bit calmer at work, but not much. Most days seem to last for ever and I am very anxious.

I have an appointment with the Psychiatrist tomorrow, hoping for some CBT sessions and maybe an idea how I can get back to feeling better.

How are things?

I found citalopram and quetiapine a good combination for anxiety. needed to find the right dose of both, worth it though.

Anxiety at work is so hard to cope with. Hoping you have support there.

I've had a bad week at work. I can barely concentrate on my job at the moment.
The Citalopram 20mg has yet to `kick in'. I know that it usually takes between 2 and 4 weeks to get going.

Two weeks ago my anxiety was about 95%
Last week it was about 90%
Yesterday it was about 85%
Today it was back up to 100%

I'm still on 50mg Quetiapine an hour before bed. And in the morning I feel like I haven't slept at all.

Right so... less anxiety today, maybe down to 60%. I think the 20mg Citalopram is kicking in. I'll leave it another two weeks until I start coming off the Quetiapine.

Hopefully this is me starting to calm down again.

The Citalopram has definitely kicked in, anxiety is down a lot, didn't have one anxious episode today and even went to a very busy meeting and managed to stay calm.
That's 14 days back on the 20mg and still taking the 50mg Quetiapine an hour before bed.
