Hi Dave here from Scotland. 45 this year..Suffered from panic attacks since i was a teenager..30 years..decided last month to finally confront the beast..went to doc and am currently on citalopram 20mg...three weeks in and no side effects so far and my mood is improving..go to see the psychiatrist next month. Know it wont be an easy road but i'm determined to beat it.
Mum and dad both suffered with mental illness which made my childhood pretty sad and lonely...they argued loads which means i really fear conflict.
Anyway enough for now...its good to know there is somewhere to turn when things get bad as they have in the recent past and you realise other people feel the same feelings as you do.
