Period pain 22 days after period??

I got my period on the 30th march it lasted 5 days, I had ovulation pain over the wkend. It's been achy all wk but tonight I had some serious cramping! Feels like bad period pain. When I was ovulating it felt like the pain was left to right.. What is this? My periods not due till 4th may it's usually a 32-34day cycle.
I had a baby 9 months ago but breastfed so this will only be my 5th period.

Hmmm...well period pain is cause my contractions of your uterus but I find that sometimes I get the same pain but it was actually intestines complaining! I've been put on iron tablets and they muck about with your gut a bit. Could you be eating something that's disagreeing with you?

^^^ is right about indigestion/eating something bad. Tummy pains can happen low sometimes. Also, you could be having an early one. Its best to just wait to see if it goes if it isn't causing you any problems.

I wouldn't worry too much about the period coming after 22 days - it could well be hormonal if you have been breastfeeding and also, hun, sometimes our periods do change a little after having children.

Just keep a record and see how it looks in 3 months time (you could always see your GP and tell them your concerns - I did when mine changed and she told me to keep a record for a few months) - you may well be going to have shorter periods with shorter breaks inbetween times and that this will become the norm for you now.

Not good! Got the cramps back last Friday and had them since.. Now I'm ovulating which isn't helping! How are u? X
