Never made me feel sick - just a bit dizzy for the first day.

It is fantastic and used to sort my indigestion out within 48 hours

    Definitely take it

I can't remember any side effects. I took a 2 week course about a year ago. Read the inserts of all your other drugs, not all work with omeprazole. For example there is an interaction of:
    omeprazole and citalopram

Omeprazole taken with citalopram MAY increase the effects of Citalopram .If you feel like you are experiencing more side effects it wise to speak to your GP .he will reduce the ammount of Cit accordingly .Other than that there is no cause for concern .Sue

Why don't you try ranitidine (Zantac)? You can buy it over the counter at chemists. Not sure it will alleviate nausea caused by cit but worth a try. (Ask pharmacist first though.)
