Just wondering if what i now think is stomach acid is ibs >??

I get a burning feeling across my stomach , just under my ribs ??? Now when i had really bad excess stomach acid it was right in the centre 24/7 burning , this is different it comes and goes . I have all the other ibs "normal for me" symtoms , thin stools , burning on the l/h side , weeing more ..lol.. and lots of gurgling , acheing left thigh . I also get a spasm in my stomach ??
Does anyone else get a burning accross there stomach under there ribs but higher than the bellie button ?? It is either all the way across both sides or moves to the left .
I also feel bloated .

I go the dr,s for regular meds check up so will mention it then .

Mel, your large intestine / bowel goes all around the edge of your abdomen kind of in a square shape with four corners. You can definitely get ibs just under the ribs on both sides as food moves around the bowel. I regularly drink fibre gel and this seems to help reduce the symptoms, I recently switched to buying pure ispaghula husk and mixing with squash as it has no artificial sweeteners. Drinking 2 teaspoons of this a day has practically completely stopped my ibs. Oh by the way acid reducing drugs and ant-acids make IBS worse.

Its calmed down today but my stools were like pencils this morning !

Probably just ibs not acid then .
