2nd day on propranolol

Ok so where to start!!! Ive been suffering with anxiety for since my son was born 2 years ago (if Im being honest its probably been longer!). The past few months it has got out of control to the point where I literally struggle to leave the house. Doctor gave me some propranolol. Took one straight away, had a fantastic day yesterday! Spent whole day remarkably calm. Last night I started feeling quite sicky. This morning I took another tablet. My stomach feels so upset, like Im going to have the runs (sorry if TMI!). Im on 40mg once a day (or up to 3 times a day if needed). I feel really sort of... tired .... I went to take my eldest child to school, got to the end of the street and freaked out, so no school for her today :( urg ... is this normal when you first start taking this medication?

I had 40mg x 3 times daily. They helped me get out of the anxiety spiral and calm down. I did not have any side-effects, maybe your tummy is upset with anxiety. Check the leaflet and ask your pharmacist if it carries on.

I did feel less energetic but this helped as I was running on adrenaline and needed to take things at a slower pace.

I got an uset tummy and I started them yesterday. It says on the leaflet that this is a symptom that goes away, so let's hope it does!

Apart from a bit of insomnia I am fine on these now.
