is this normal for IBS ?

Am always constipated and when i finally do go the loo my stool is solid then after that there soft sometimes a little watery but i panic / freak out soon as this happens as i think some major is happening ?? As i went before stool was hard so was washing my hands and had to jump back on the loo when it was but runny :(

This is quiete normal it happens to me as well I am constipated then I have to run back on and it is very soft that is one of the things that happens with IBS.
