Lump up rectum

I have ibs and I'm awaiting a colonoscopy I feel like I never proper empty my bowels and wondered about internal piles so I put my finger inside (sorry) at the end of my finger there felt like a squishy golf ball sized thing.. It wasn't poo.. Is that normal or could it be a tumour?? When I pressed it it didn't hurt or anything.

Sounds like an internal pile to me

Really.. It was straight ahead at the end of my finger and felt big! I could push it and it didn't really hurt.

It does sound like an internal pile to me too .I had a few of them once ..Felt like a bunch of grapes ..They are caused by straining and constipation .Try drinking more water and maybe have some fybogel with your main meal .It will help soften the stools and make them easier to pass .The pile will go down ,Anusol cream will help it to shrink .T.c Sue x
