    Annoying habit

    I have developed an annoying habit when feeling under pressure, mostly at work. I keep tensing my temple and ear muscles which inevitably gives me a headache and makes my nose area feel tight. It's a hard habit to break, I have to really concentrate and tell myself not to do it. Anyone else got habits like this? How can I stop doing it?

    Put an elastic band on your wrist and when you feel yourself doing it snap the band. That should stop you doing it so much.

    My most annoying habbit is bouncing my leg up and down (always seems to be my right leg) when I'm nervous or anxious, kind of annoying when you're hitting the table and people get annoyed. But the elastic band thing seems good, I should try that

    i find myself clenching my jaw and have to really concentrate to relax it. I've heard the elastic band thing before so i am going to try it.

    I just seem to pace everywhere,i caut sit still.I think i even make myself worse and people notice and tell me to sit down.The band sounds a good idea.xx

    i grind my teeth and clench my jaw[and get headaches too]and i hunch my shoulders up by my ears!!!Gunna get some elastic bands thanks nic!love mary[rose.xxxxxxxxxxxx
