Question???

Just wondered if anyone else started to feel really down when they first started taking citalopram? I've never felt low before and I think it may just be the side effects wearing me down a bit?

Yes but it will get better .It does make you feel a bit worse before it slowly starts to get better .It will take abt 3 weeks for the drug to get into your system properly and a bit longer for it to stabilise to feel the full benefits .Keep busy and try not to dwell on the feelings .Also get plenty of sleep if you can .Excercise will help boost your mood if you can ,manage it ,even a brisk walk will help .Take care and all the best .Sue x
