    Hi Lisa,
    I have been on Beta Blockers (Propanolol 40mg) for some weeks now and I would not worry about taking them. They have helped me a lot with chest palpitations I was experiencing. I am now guaranteed a good nights sleep. Have now cut down my dose from two tablets a day to one. Hopefully off them completely soon. Good luck!
