Coming off diazepam

Hey thanks - I am doing ok or I was till tonight and I read the news on Sky and elsewhere about the dangers of our benzos. :-s Did you read it?? I don't want to start a panic but a new report claims we are 4.5 times more likely to die prematurely cause of the crap we've been given. :-o I'm going to phone the Dr to find out more tomorrow. ASAP. Cause if true that truly truly sucks! I can't believe it though - I mean the drug's been around for decades upon decades and if it was mega dangerous than that (more dangerous than ciggies by miles they claim) then surely someone would already have noticed? Freaked me out a bit - and I was trying to quit smoking today!! Picked the wrong damn day. :-s xxx

Dying from what though?? The article doesn't say what people are "apparently" dying FROM!

Yeah you're right. :-s It's probably garbage. My Dad responded with "ach - everyday there's some new study that says that people who meet a frog on a Tuesday are more likely to get nose cancer or some rubbish" haha. :-) Think he's probably right on this one - I've decided to just ignore it - it freaked me out last night though - maybe cause I was stopping smoking too. :-s
