Does this sound like a panic attack?

Hi everyone,

Had problems with headaches, blocked eustachian tubes and my balance but the last few days at work have been pretty awful. I was fine over the weekend but today i really struggle. There were times in a couple of meetings that i felt i wasn't even there, sweating, unable to focus my eyes, headache really flared up and i just wanted to make my excuses and leave as quickly as possible. I can't keep thinking this way and trying to avoid certain situations and work in general - any tips what to do?

That's anxiety a panic attack is where you start sweating you can't breath and you literally feel like you are dying and usually hyperventalate and sometimes start shouting for help. With a panic attack it takes you over with anxiety you mostly think of ways out and how to leave a situation with a panic attack your body completely loses it. That's my way of thinking about it having had both.

Anxiety it is then - certainly nothing like a panic attack as you describe - and i'll be honest i wouldn't want one. That sounds a truly awful experience.

I have anxiety everyday like you describe panic is probably the next stage up normally with anxiety you can change the anxiety by doing something different ie if you in a meeting leaving the room would make it better with panic attack you would just lose it and lose control believe me neither of them are wanted or welcome. I remember crying for 6 hours after a panic attack.
