    Sharp pains

After playing golf today I was sat in the car and felt a sudden sharp pain in my rib area when breathing in (have experienced this a few times before). I started to feel worried and panicky but kept it under control. The pain lasted for a good 10 mins or so until I decided to lean back and have a stretch then it faded away. Any ideas what it might've been? My dad said it was most likely stitch or a pulled muscle. Was a horrible feeling.

Sounds like stress and anxiety pains to me.

You proved it was muscular by stretching and it went away.

No I don't think it was, I didn't feel anxious at all until the pain came on. Think it must've been muscular then.

sounds like you might have just nipped a nerve the way you moved, not likely to be muscular when it went away so quickly. The average person has around 3 unexplained aches and pains a day its just us anxiety folks that worry about them amplifying them hence making them worse.
