Morning after pill.....help!!

Hello all,

I know really that it will go away, but was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. I had the morning after pill on Monday after being stupid last Friday (not yesterday) night. Anyway, since Tuesday I have been eating like a stable of horses. Completely not in control of it which 1) I hate not being in control, and 2), even worse than that is getting fat, or putting weight on at ALL which has happened (daren't go on the scales as that will spoil what self-esteem I have left). Plus, I'm depressed again. So, anyway, I now have a period that came today, nearly 2 weeks early. Is this why I've been feeling so crap? I am really down, bloated, had that hunger thing that I don't usually get. I feel out of control. Does anyone else have this? Will it go away and I can go back to being in control again? I really hope I haven't mucked up my body with a stupid hormone!!

well least you have your period
It will take a few days for your body to settle down, my friends often feel ill after taking the morning after pill and it has messed with their periods too.
Luckily never had to take it myself, I'm also a bit med phobic too.
you know your self how much PMS hormones can mess with your mood and appetite

It is a pretty powerful punch of hormones - I can't say that I felt hungry but I do feel its responsible (either completely or just in part) for hair loss that ensued. I think it's just starting to come back now 3 months or so later.

I had a couple of light periods and the one I'm having now has just been wreaking havoc lol

Thanks so much for your replies! Feeling a but better today too. Klonoa, sorry to hear about your hair. Must be v distressing, but glad its sorting itself out now.
And yeah, Mich you're right, at least I have my period. Better than the alternative.
Lesson learned me trunks.
