sorry tmi...blood in snot??

Hi Guys,

Id love anyones opinion on this, iv been full of cold lately, and now iv picked up a nasty cough, but combine with my hayfever, iv been blowing my nose ALOT, now there is blood in my snot, not loads, but enough, sometimes its like tiny little clots, i no its nothing really to worry about, just wondered if anybody new why it happened??

I get this even when I haven't had a cold in fact my left nostril bleeds very slightly all the time from a weak blood vessel and if I blow my nose alot this makes it worse. I have had this for as long as I can remember.

IF you have had a cold and you have nasty coloured snot like dark brown with bleeding and pain in your face or gums then it might be from a sinus infection in which case see your Gp but otherwise it should clear up once you stop blowing your nose alot.

i got rid of my nasty cold, have it to my partner and now hes given me it back!! this could be a vicious circle x
