How long does a swab last?

Hi, i recently got told by the doc to take a vaginal swab so they gave me the swab to take home and give in. I did it last night but i wasn't able to get there today to give it in, do you think it will be okay to give it in tomorrow instead? Im worried that it would have been to long for me to give it in and they wouldn't be able to test it :S thankyou

It's just been in my room? Where shall i put it? My rooms very cool

I would have thought it should have been stored in the fridge - I assume it is in a container of some sort?

Yes it is, its put in some kind of liquid which i think preserves it.

ok well I guess you can take it tomorrow and tell them you didn't take it today and see what they say.

could you not take one yourself at the doctors office in the bathroom maybe?

They always ask me to take one home and bring it in :(

Duke next time they say that just do it in the bathroom and then hand it in. thats what id of done haha x
