Side effect

Hey everyone,

I'v just come off sertraline and started on fluoxetine and was wondering if it gives anyone else stomach trouble? Since i started taking the pills im getting really bad stomach cramps that last hours and hours. Could this be a conincidence or has ne1 else experienced this kind of pain ?

I'm on day 6 & have had an upset stomach since taking them. Plus indigestion, feeling sick & body chills.
I've also noticed my anxiety is so bad some days I feel like I'm not going to get through it.
Just horrible but you're not on your own.

What day are you on?

Hi Emily,

Thanks for the response, its not nice is it :(. Im currently on day four. I just hope its not a permanent side effect? Have you heard of anyone else having this?

No it's not, it's vile.
I actually thought I was going to die yesterday.

I just spoke to my friend about it, turns out she is on it & said it was awful for the first few weeks & then it kicked in. She said to stick with it & it will pass.

(Very hard when you're anxious)
