how to delay a period??

hey there, just a quick question about delaying a period. i have been off birth control for 3 months now, am due to menturate in around 5 days time, however i really wanna avoid or dleay the bleeding for a few more days say 3 or 4 days. i found a couple of pills bc pills about 3 left over from the last time. my question is would taking these 3 delay my period or wud it have no desired effect at all?? any advise wud be greatly appreciated thanks

think best to go to GP and get a pill called Norethisterone which delays your period safely .......
my friend has used this when going on holiday . it has to be taken a few days before period is due I think ....but not sure .
sure someone will be along to tell you more though

I was going to suggest the same thing. I plan to ask for that when I am going on holiday.

thank you havent managed to get to my gp so i decided to take bc pill tonight and see how it goes and take another tmrw sometime, hopefully this will delay my bleed for and extra few days. i hope i dnt start spotting or anything now fingers crossed lol
