I can't remember being phobic about anything in the past, but over the last week I've felt vertigo on tube escalators - and I've been using them all my life so I don't understand why I'd start being scared now.
I'm not really phobic because I'm not avoiding them, but I start getting panicky when I use them.
Also I've started being paranoid that the cats are going to jump on me on the way home in the dark. I'm allergic to them and when I come closer to them they lower their heads like they're going to pounce.
I was paranoid that everyone was looking at me today on the way to work, going through Holborn (it's terribly busy at 6pm!).
I haven't felt these paranoias before. Why do they start happening? I know it's really mild but it's scary that it's happening to me. I thought I was immune :(
