Are you sure the GGT is 549!!! and the ALT 398?

No i dont really drink much . i had my gallbladder removed about 5 months ago and have had chest/stomach pains ever since.

ok thanks cos the GGT is typically used to indicate excessive alcohol use, hence why I asked.
The ALT indictates inflammation I believe.
Are you on any medication as that can increase liver test results as well?

i take a statin to control cholestral and ramipril for blood pressure. I have type 2 diabeties which is diet controlled.

Ok well I am on a statin and Ramipril as well so maybe not that.
I guess you will have to see what the doc says but I just thought those readings were very high to be honest.
