Can I just ask if you drink a lot of alcohol and why the liver tests were done?

    Re: LFT results

ok thanks cos the GGT is typically used to indicate excessive alcohol use, hence why I asked.

The ALT indictates inflammation I believe.

Are you on any medication as that can increase liver test results as well?

Ok well I am on a statin and Ramipril as well so maybe not that.

I guess you will have to see what the doc says but I just thought those readings were very high to be honest.
