I also take Sertraline. Can't say I've experienced any pressure but I swapped straight over from Seroxat. If you've recently started it, it may be a side effect, which will pass after a few weeks.
Speak to your pharmacist (they know far more about meds than doctors) if you need reassurance.
Hope it passes soon

Your making smile thanks for reply x
Aww Irish, don't take it to heart. We all do posts that few can relate to so they don't reply. It's no reflection on you - just the way forums work at times

HI Irish
I've been taking sertraline for nearly a week now and I've been getting really bad headaches amongst other side effects, just gotta stick it out and hope it'd worth it in the long run. Apparently most anti depressants have a couple of weeks of unpleasant side effects before they start working.
Good luck with your recovery x
Thanks all I think I'm so anxious about the head pressure I just wanted someone to say it will pass I googled it and said there is no cure hope that's not true it's so debilitating love to you all x
I thinks it's more to do with me wanting someone to say their experiencing same Thai u all xxxx
Hi Irisheyes
I did see your post and am on Sertraline, but as I have not felt this effect I didn't think I had anything to say that would help you.
What I can say is that I had tons of other side effects initially, all which wore off pretty much after four weeks. Everyone is different and there's no way of knowing exactly how SSRI's such as Sertraline will affect you. I am now much better and am looking to come off Sertraline altogether shortly.
