    Re: Mass panic

I think how you have put it sounds funny to me as I am not scared of the dentist but i know lots of people who are and who share exactly the same fears as you.

My bf is petrified and always asks to be sedated as he just thrashes about otherwise. Its not being put to sleep, its just a sedative to chill you out, you are fully aware of whats going on and can still talk etc it just gives you a calming feeling, have you looked into this at all?

hope it all goes ok for you though, easier said than done but please try not to get worked up about it otherwise you will just feel worse. And stop watching dodgy movies lol

    Hey,

You will be fine! It is always worse when you overthink it than what it actaully is like when you get there

I am sure you will be fine, take an MP3 player and listen to music to block out noises.

You know where I am if you need to shout at someone from the dentists chair

lol so is my bf he flaps around all over the show! we had to go to emergency dentist at xmas last year and i thought he was going to hit the dentist he was moving around so much, he doesnt like the chair moving either!

but seriously look into sedation if you think you might need some.
