IBS and nausea

Hi!! I was just wondering if any of you suffer with ibs and if so does it ever cause nausea?

Oh yep, sure does, nothing to worry about there. I have had IBS for the past 5 years and I get it frequently. It'll subside, if it doesn't then go to see your GP.

i suffer with ibs too and after several years am still suprised at how many symptoms it gives us, but they do ease and with the right diet and or meds it gets easier to live with.
but i suffer nausia alot but have learned to just ignore it.
there is alot of posts on ibs and some self help pages listed over on the left of the screen one just for ibs.

I get nausea all the time it totally sucks :( I think it's a combination of ibs and anxiety.
I find ginger tea really helps or sniffing some peppermint oil off a tissue

Hi helenlouise i suffer from nausea as well, so you are not alone, and i agree with vicky23 it could be a mixture of anxiety to.....

Hi everyone thank you for your replies.

I get Nausea quite often - It doesn't last too long but it panics me incase there is something else wrong!

I think it could be down to stress as well as i'm not that bad when i'm calm
