IBS and Ovarian Cancer worries ..again!!

About once a year I have a flare up of IBS, that lasts for a good few months, and then i have it on and off for the rest of the year that comes and goes for a couple of days then nothing for months ect. Each time I have a bad flare up I think its Ovarian Cancer, even though this has been going on for years. I have had colonoscopy a year ago and was diagnosed with IBS. so why cant I tell my stupid head this. The diarrhea and cramps is after eating, I have no bloating just a bit of trapped wind every now and then which eases with a Windeez, and some tiredness which is par for the course with IBS. But each time I worry so much that the diarrhea is caused by Ovarian Cancer! But if it only happens after eating surely it is IBS? please someone talk some sense into me. Thank you

    hi,

I have had ibs for over 20 years and have had really bad flare up over the last 2 months. I worry about bowel cancer. Have you had any specific testing for ovarian cancer?

I know that anxiety has a really bad effect on my stomach.
